help with gas door

well I took apart the interior of my car to clean the carpets cause I had a water leak and I took apart and I took off the trim piece on the driverside floor that covers the switch for the trunk and gas cap... well after I had it all apart I put it back on and the other night when I went to fill my gas I couldnt get it open... the trunk works and all but I cant get the gas tank to open does anyone know how to fix that... I figured out how to get it open from the trunk but I still need to fix that switch... so if anyone has any ideas that would be great thank you...

The same type thing happend to me one night I needed gas real bad and when I got there my gas door wouldnt open. turns out my splitter for the gas door broke. Honda fixed it under warrenty but I got issues with thier fix. They didnt rerun my cable the way it orginaly came so now if the cable moves or twists and you try to shut my trunk it wont latch till you straighten the line. So maybe try to make sure the line in the trunk is not twisted. If that doesnt work, does your lever up front feel broken or funny if so then it is your splitter wich is under warrenty so take it to Honda. Hope this helps.
