you know buddy, f**k these **** who can actually respond to your post with no better response than "search". If they were such great people, they'd search and then post the answer for you. Hypocrites. As for your question, K20A2 has been swapped, and supposedly there was a b16A swap, but I never seen anything to prove it. Problem about older motors, is that the tranny spins a diff. direction than our cars. SO the only motors that would work without having to modify the hell out of your car is the K series motors.
Hope that helps

I was reading an article in the new Honda Tunning magazine and a shop in Phoenix or Arizona cant remember anyway they put an RSX engine in a 2002 Honda Civic Coupe!!! I was suprised according to them the frames are the same for the exception of rewiring a little and rerouting hoses everything fits in pretty good! here's the link : Honda Tunning
But if you guys did search you'd realize that there's several people on here with K20's already and that this topic has been beaten to death. There's probably a topic about a k20 swap permanently posted at the top of one of the forums. But yeah, K20 is the only thing i've seen proof of and I heard someone has a B18c1 (that might be the wrong engine code).

Just an FYI.... for those who heard of having a B16, remember, that would be an ILLEGAL swap, since the engine is older than the car body style. ie, the engine was in the last model year of 2000.... and 7th gen started in 2001. A B18C5 would be ok, since they made a model 2001 with a B18C5.
