help please!
well first of all happy holidays.
i woke up around 10 today to start on my angel eyes project. it was going ok until one of leds broke. so i was like i can fix it later. so i tried to do it on my other headlight which was perfect. my bro was supposed to see if the angel eyes worked when tapped into the parking wires. but he touched the positive and negative together. i heard a loud pop and now my dash lights dont turn on or my parking lights.
i hear a click when i turn on my lights. theyre coming from 2 black fuses from the fuse box. so do i need to replace both of em? ive working on this proeject for 12 hrs now. and i have spent close to 100 dollars. cause i had to buy a dremal. and im pissed

To check if they're fried use a multimeter across the leads and see if there's a complete circuit. You could also just use a small battery and an LED to check the fuses. It is a fuse though. They're designed to go first before anything else, so just make sure to find the ones that died and replace them. It might just be one though.

A similar pop came from my engine bay fuse box when a buddy and I were upgrading the wiring in my car. He had accidentally touched the alternator's +ve terminal with his socket wrench. Turned out to be a blown batt fuse (the biggest one in the box as far as I recall). Went to Honda to pick one up, cost me $7 Canadian. Bought a couple extra just in case. I imagine if it's a smaller fuse, it'll be cheaper to replace. I just shone a light onto the fuse box and saw right away which one was blown. Good luck dude.
