Has anyone put like a resonator from another car like a civic si or a gsr resonator because the resenator that we have for our cars are just so restricted. I have the resonator off in my car and it sounds good but very very loud. Just asking if someone has done it and if it brings the noise level down of your exhaust to the bearable level?

What kind of exhaust do you have? And how much louder did it make your car?

the exhuast I have is the apex-i style checkpoint exhaust and it is a custom catback system with no resonator and it is LOUD but very deep

Very nice. I love deep tones exhausts. I have the high pitched ricey sounding exhausts. I say stick with it the way it is.

You could add an aftermarket perforated core muffler to your system as a resonator. I am using a Dynomax glass pack as a resonator with my Ractive Fireball style axle-back and it is bearable. It has a nice deep tone and doesn't get loud until after 3500rpms.
