Hi well like ussual things never go as planned and im not getting the civic from my sister and i installed a couple of things the maijor thing is the custon exhaust system it was done by a muffler sho with 2 1/4 inch piping what i wanted to know its if i could swithch it with a stock one from a manual ex cause my friend had a manual one and she wants my exhaust so i would take her stock btw i hav and auto so yeah can i switch them?

yeah you have a civic right? a 2001 too right? I mean, as long as you have the same civic as your friend's (year, model) doens't matter if you have an auto or manual.

but since its a custom... and I'm not sure how custom it was... as in, was it a custom pipping job and did they weld anything? or did they just made a bigger pipping and bolt it on? you should check with the shop and ask them can you easily swap in a stock cat-back... or just check yourself.

well hers is a 2002 mines a 2001, all they did was bolt on a bigger pipe and the muffler its using all the stock mounts though which one of just came off when i was taking my mom to work lol i just wasn;t sure cause i though there might be a varience in the path of the pipe since its a diffrent tranny and yes i get an F for grammer and punctuation lol
