rsx sway bar bolt turning with nut

ok I am replacing my sway bar and when trying to take off the nut to the bolt for the link arm and sway bar the bolt turns with the nut. Did this happen to anyone else and if so how did you remedy it?
thanks,
chris

Stick an allen wrench...hold it.

Use wrench or whatever and turn the bolt.

You're gonna grow some muscles taking it off...

memories.... just be patient. it's gonna take a LOT of turns to get it off. one of those ratchet-type wrenches may prove to be useful

CapYoda has a spectacular aura aboutCapYoda has a spectacular aura about
allen wrench.

I didn't realize that until I finished the install.

I used a vise grip to hold down the endlink joints... lol.

man was I a moron.

but.. I was using a wrench that wouldn't allow me to use an allen wrench anyway. so *shrug*

If I'm not mistaken, if you happen to have ground control coilovers, the allen wrench for that should work just fine.

He got it guys. Now for the follow-up question. Did you install your sway bar upside down the first time like some of us?

I installed it upside down. I just put mine on and didn't notice it when the car was up on jack stands. Then I drove around to test it and I heard alot of noise like it was banging stuff. I got out and looked and it is upside down and is hitting the wishbone arm to the wheel. I dont have time to fix it today. I was wondering how long can you ride with it like that?
