Do i chip or put on my V-AFC, relating to Nitrous

i just bought a V-afc and i am going to put it on, but my friend says that if i chip my car i will get better performance because if i chip it, it redoes every thing.... but i also wanna squeeze some juice so i am wondering if the chip will work with my nitrous, because i read somewhere that they don't mix.

I cant see why they cant work together. You could use your VAFC's VTEC controller to activate your NOS at a certain RPM and add a llitle extra fuel. Just dont turn up the fuel on the VAFC to high b/c the chip is also adding fuel.

ok, as far as the nitrous goes, do it, you will thank yourself. i used to spray in my car and i used the VAFC to trigger the nitrous soloinoid with the vtec setting. the is one major problem you need to address is the votlage of your relay. if you got the NX kit, then the relay is probally 14 volt <check to make sure> and the vafc is 12 volt. so you need a resister, other than that, go nuts.

chipping = advancing ignition timing and adding extra fuel. Problem is too much ignition timing does not mix with nitrous and you will back fire, melt pistons and crack valves. Ignition timing has nothing to do with cam timing so don't ask will a cam gear help.

SaiyanMatador is right, you DO NOT WANT IGNITION ADVANCE when squeezing, you will detonate- you will need a msd ignition retarder if you want both, set it so the ignition retarder kicks in when you spray- that way you will have the performance of the chip for daily driving and be where you need to be with advance when spraying.
