Strut Tower Brace? [I'm new so bear with me]

Alright here's the story.. I bought a strut tower brace (the "straight across" type) and I tried installing it... but it wouldnt work because theres that small fluid resevoir (I think it's for brake fluid since it says, "fill only with brake fluid" or somethin like that), anyways.. I did a search on here and there's a thread that says you just have to relocate that small resevoir.. I kept reading but I didnt really understand what everything meant.. Anyone wanna help me out step by step on how to get this thing on? Its been sitting in my room for about a week now!

I know alot about car stuff and the only good Strut Tower Brace you should buy is the one from DC it cost alot ($180 for me) but it look's cool and it won't interfere with anything, look how cool it look's on my car. My advice to you is return it and get the one from DC.

The DC bar is an overpriced piece of junk. If you want a bar that looks good but does nothing, buy it. The DC bar is not stiff at all... it has 5 different pieces, 4 joints and the bar is drilled full of holes! It's worthless in terms of stiffness. It's very prone to bending and flexing.
If you want a bar that does something, buy the Neuspeed one. It can be had for around $100, it's the only one with all welded construction, and sits up in the back of the engine bay, totally out of the way of everything. It'll clear any intake as well. It's a much better buy than the DC bar.

I agree with boilermaker. the neuspeed bar is the best front strut bar out there for the money. The little resevoirs come out of the slots so you can move them around. Just pull them up put the bar on then try and slide it back in as much as possible.

correct me if im wrong but i thought that you had to relocate the brake resovoir with the neuspeed. if not then i would definetly get the neuspeed over the dc sports.

To install the Neuspeed bar, you have to bend the bracket for the clutch reservoir forward about 1/4". Just a minor tweak. It will move forward with no problem. The directions say it may not even be necessary if the bar falls between the reservoirs with out trouble. The brake reservoir sits between the bars.

the neuspeed is good, probably better, aint no doubt about that, but yeah, i dont think the DC is a piece of junk. i got mine brand new for bout a hundred bucks so i'm not complainin bout that. and as for it being worthless in terms of stiffness, its not THAT bad...i could definately feel the difference..but yeah. just my lil input.

IMO, the Neuspeed bar has the best performace/cost ratio.

I have the strut bar that Tornactive sells in his 3 pack and I have to tell you that it does the same job that the Neuspeed or the DC bar do. I had the Neuspeed on my last civic and I didnt notice any big difference when I put the no name bar on my 7thgen. So the only thing you have to do is decide if you want to spend $150 plus on the Dc or $120 on the Neuspeed or $100 on the front upper, rear upper, and rear lower tie bar package from tornactive.

How can you compare how different bars worked on two different cars?? Who is to say that the no name one wouldn't have worked even worse than the Neuspeed one on the older car?

About that three peice kit from Tornactive, does it require tweeking the clutch bracket also? Not a big deal, just wondering. Also if you have the part number for the kit that would be appreciated as I'm interested in it.. thanks.
