itrous help needed

heres the deal- I have a nx wet system 50 shot setup

-the system power,bottle warmer and remote opener power up with one rocker switch
-another button activates the system so when at wide open throttle the nitrous flows
-a msd window activator switch keeps it so it will not flow below 3000rpm and stops the flow at 6800rpm
I have the purgekit, low fuel pressure safty cutoff, bottle pressure guage, air/fuel guage,

I've taken every precaution for safty to not blow my engine as you can see

it is my understanding that nos should only be used in 4th gear. Is there anything made by nx that can be set up to flow like 10% in first gear, 20% in second, 40% in third, 100% in fourth and back down to 20% in fifth???
(just an example with the percentages)

I basically want to have nos from 1st gear all the way to 5th gear within the preset rpm range at WOT, but distributed proportionally so as to not do damage to my engine or drivetrain

anyone set up anything like this

who says you can only squeeze in 4th gear. you can squeeze safely as long as its over 2400 rpm. according to holley...man i squeeze in any gear but not off the line.youll be fine...

You can spray 1st through 5th, but 5th gear is weak and not to mention you most likely wont even feel the n2o...if you spray off the line you'll just blow your tires off(or get violent wheel hop...as some of us know ) , 2nd through 4th is where you want to be spraying...

some people should stop trying to bump their post numbers by having stupid replys to posts, the site if for info ehchange, not stupidy.

anyway, on to the purpose of this site- is there anyway to strengthen 5th gear so initrous can be used to up the top speed??? Once I hit 4500rpm in 5th, it aint going any higher, it peaks out

At that point you're fighting gearing. Not much you can do. Just wring it out in 4th and call it a day...

Do you have all that bottle wiring routed to a relay??? That's how I did it to ensure it gets the electrons it needs when I flip the switch.

Power is Power, what if you have a turbo dose it wait to get to full boost until 4th gear, "NO". Don't trip just be careful in 1st because you will spin the tires like crazy when the NOS kicks in. Do me a favorer and dino it and tell me how it dose or race someone that would beet you normally and tell me how you do, because I wont that kit too.

i have the systemax 3 switch which arms the system, opens the bottle and turns on the warmer all at the same time, all 3 just plug into the back of that switch, I think it is a 60A switch.

if you want different power in different gears look into the NX maximizer....also known as F.R.E.D.

it will run ya 500 bucks

4500 in fifth? not sure on what model you have, but im pretty damn sure it will tach higher than 4500 in 5th..unless you have an auto, and then it has set shiftpoints and well it wouldn't even be 5th gear it would be 4th. Anyway if you have a 5 speed it will tach higher than 4500...4500 is only about 95mph. my 5spd ex tach little over 100 in 4th.

launch normally in 1st. when u hit 2nd activate the N20. you can keep it on through 5th, but keep in mind, you shouldnt be sparying for more then 15-16 seconds at a time. IF you do this, you wount put any undue stress on the tranny because when N20 is activated its already from a roll, plus you wont have traction issues. Also did you already upgrade your clutch? DI IT if you havent. I reccomend the Exedy ceramic/organic full face.

as for the rest, it sounds fine. and kick whoever said not to spray in 4th in the nuts.

edit, also volumetric efficency is lost at higher engine speeds with N20. ie the faster you are going the less efect it will have on acceleration. this is also a byproduct of your stock gearing. your civics 5th gear is meant to save gas, not to allow it to reach higher tripple digit speeds.
