Intake prices and results
hey guys,
I am looking to get a intake for my civic 2001 auto. I want something not too expensive, but with good results. Also, i was wondering if it might be cheaper to get one custom made and where I would be able to do that.
Thanks,
Chris

coolness = supidness

gonna help you out buddy.....
SEARCH
They're all the same....gonna give you 1-3 HP + deeper & louder engine sound.
why would you go custom?! its a pipe and a filter at the end of it

the one that has some good reviews is the K&N FIPK, same increase in HP, but
you dont lose in LOWEND TORQUE.

well the reason I asked is so that I could get people's opinions. So, I could get their personal results to see which people like better rather than take the manufacter's word for it.

Go with the FIPK, you won't regret it. I just replaced my Injen CAI with it. Less torque loss, good high end, excellent quality, and you don't have to pull your front bumper off to clean your air filter.

My bro has Injen on his Cavalier...says it doesn't get a huge increase in HP. just a lil...but he says it makes it easier for going from say 60 to 70 in a heartbeat...his is SRI...I may get the same...

My best advise...as with anything, is do your own research first..then ask later.....we have more than enough information to assist you here as well as pricing. If your wanting opinions..well we can provide that as well....but nevertheless, the best thing is to search for yourself......in the mean time..my advice is to save your money...and invest into something different if your trying to invest into a performance mod...now if you strictly "show"..then buy one off of ebay cheap..and save your money..Peace!
