The VNT (variable nozzle turbine) is NOT the same as a sequential turbo... the sequential is more like two turbos stuck together and the VNT is more like a variable pitch propeller blade...

not trying to talk down to you here but maybe you missed the sema show... Garrett just released a new turbo, the gt-15... it supports up to 130hp, and is meant for go-carts... i think that 1.8L is MORE than enough to take FULL advantage of these little things... and you need to understand that turbo's are made for engines as small as 0.4L
