Question reguarding nitrous and turbo???

This might sound like a stupid question, but could you run your nitrous lines through your turbo so when your spraying, its being forced in at however many PSI your pushing? I dont know, I might be contradicting the whole point between these two power adders, because I know that N20 is technicaly already at a certain PSI when its going into the engine.

Dont have turbo myself, but doesnt nitrous already spray from the injection nozzle at something around 900psi already? is 7psi of turbo boost pressure really going to make a difference if the nozzle is pointed towards you throttle body? and if you have a direct port injection, what does it really matter since the nitrous is basically spraying straight thru your intake valves when they are open?

I am not sure if I am right about this or not, but I dont think in the end it would matter. In the end the expeted result with both is to get more air into the engine, either by forced induction (turbo), or by an Oxidization additive (Nitrous).
I do have a feeling though that mixing the two like you are talking about might not be good, because it has no doubt been tried, but I could be wrong about all of this, if so, then just smack me and tell me to shut up ......

NX (nitrous express) did have something like what your talking about where a solinoid mounts onto the front of the intercooler and sprays nitrous into it cooling the passing air, but i cant find it anywhere on there web site. maybe they quit selling it because it wasnt safe or something. FYI: NX has all the needed intsruction on there website to hook the stage one nitrous kit w/ lots of pics.

Using a small setting of nitrous, you can get away from your detonation problems.

hey blown, could you explain how adding a little bit of nitrous can get you away from detonation problems? it was my understanding that when you add a form of forced induction either mechanically or chemically, enduces a lean situation depending on the boost and the shot. running lean increases combustion temperatures at all states of the cycle. since the temperatures increases across the board, in "theory", the fuel could reach the self ignition temperature (S.I.T.) causing detonation before or even after spark ignition.

any thoughts?
