In my car....

The whole thing.
Take the battery out and the bumper off. It makes seeing what your doing so much easier.
(The EX/LX/DX all have the same intake as long as it's a manual)

PM answered... The only gain I noticed is 4 MPG. It might add a little bit up on the high end, but I usually do mostly commuting, so I don't usually go above 5000 very much. People say this thing makes a difference from 4500 on up (when VTEC kicks on), but for regular driving, I doubt it makes much difference.

I would have to agree with that statement.
I can only feel something after like 5k (I have an EX) and from 6-6.8 it roars over my exhuast and thas where I feel the the most. Below 5k (regular riving) I dont see where it can help since the CAI is for top end power, and to boot, I think I lost a lil on the MPG, but I donno, its kinda hard to tell.

EDIT: BoilMaker, how did you paint the white on the HONDA VTEC of the spark plug cover, what did you use? Thanks

you have to realize that no matter what aftermarket intake you are using. Gains will only be notice at WOT.

Also, the butt-dyno isn't a reliable source for noticing gains.... Only true way is for a dyno comparison.
