Duble pumpin

i gotta 2k2 hx auto, in my last car a 90' 626 auto i was usto dbl pumpin on the gas for more torq. and pwr, and now i've seemed to carry that habit to my hx.......am i killin my engine/vtech by doin this?[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG]

Let me teach you something important... when driving a brand new automatic car, the best thing to do is press the accelerator and let the tranny do the work. Dont "double pump" or switch from 2-d3-d or do anything else stupid... know why? Cuz its a waste of time.
Also.. its VTEC.. no "h"

The HX comes with a fuel saving Vtec which basically detunes the performance.... I am not sure on how it works or what it does exactly but I know its for fuel economy.

The VTEC in the HX works the same as in an EX. The HX VTEC head, however, includes the ability to lean-burn.

yes the HX does have a v-tec engine someone posted it as the v-tec e which is economy.[IMG]i/expressions/beer_yum.gif[/IMG]
