What does this mean?????
I started my car today and noticed that the Mant. Req. light was flashing. It flashed for about 5 seconds straight and then stopped. I am not sure what this means, but I just passed 17000 miles if that means anything. If anyone has any idea what it could be let me know

thats just a feature that honda put in so that you know its time to go for a scheduled maintenance check.

just like macrossranma said.
it's time for oil change. nothing wrong with ur car.
ur dealer must be set timer too short or something.
they reset ur timer each time you do mant. in dealer

Rep Power: 412 if you guys read your manuals it says it in there!! that is why they give you one. According to honda and "normal" driving, the oil doesn't need to be changed until 10k. They set the light to go on at 8k so you have 2k worth of reminders to do it!!
