Doing a oil change for the first time...

What tools will I need besides oil? Any tips?

oh yea, I plan on using 5w-20 oil. that's good right?

17mm combination wrench or socket and an oil catch pan...dont forget to take it to a OIL DUMP STATION and dont just dump it in the trash.

Boilermaker1 is a splendid one to behold

you need a 17mm socket or wrench, some muscle, a filter, drip pan, a jack and stands, and possibly another crush washer (if you lose the one thats on there). Rubber gloves help keep the mess to a minimum, and give you better grip on the filter. You may also want to put newspaper down on the floor.
