Need tech help..

I got a Civic, has about 5200 miles on it and I've noticed it's been starting at a higher RPMs than usual, usually it starts at 1100 RPM and now it's closer to 1500 RPM, maybe I'm just ****, but could it be a problem? I don't abuse it much, I gun it on weekends but my car is slow as Sh*t so I don't go fast.

Well, I hope you have a Civic or you're in the wrong place. And atleast you recognize it is slow, you're ahead of the game

My guess is a sticky throttle. That would hold the revs up. It's a problem, take it to Honda. the other question that may help get an answer... Stick or Auto?

if it does this when the engine is cold i think that it's normal. my car recently has been reving higher cold when i start it only because the weather has turned cooler here.

yes, it's normal for the car to do that when the engine is cold, it's just an automatic feature to help warm the engine up quicker.
