i would say, save the 1000 for now, save another $300 and get wheels and sport springs with camber kit. if your car is stock i think thats the best way to make it look better and at the same time make it perform better. thats what i would have done in your shoes.

ha....just 30 minutes ago, i played that game and won $1, and i was happy...but $1000,,,dayum.....congratulations

i always get lucky 7's..hoping my 7th gen will get lucky

as far as what to buy....what i personally would do is get a nice ICE set up...u cant make your car go much faster with a grand (except nitrous maybe)...so u might as well get a nice system
if your not into that, id say rims or a body kit

Try wheels and tires. Best upgrade for the money.

Tirerack has a great interactive site that allows you to view different wheels/tires on your car... your color. Very nicely done. Bet you can find a set of 4 wheels and tires for the $1000.00 bucks. That's where I got mine. Shipped to my door mounted and balanced. All I did was put them on.

Start with your wheels and then choose tires.

I second that! I had been trying to decide for a while now what performance mods to do when I finally read a post that said basically performance upgrades on our cars are a waste unless you're gonna go ALL out and even then its a lot of money. I decided to start with ice and then go to looks and maybe someday do performance. I think you'll enjoy your ride better with a good system and good looks. Just accept the car is kinda slow. hehe.... good luck!

Also, if you decide you wanna share that scratch game w/ me..... oh well wishful thinking.

Depends on which way you want to go. Performace = Intake/Exhaust and maybe header. Looks = Anything from ICE to body kits to wheels.

Its your $1000.....trust me, it won't last if you put it in your car!

first off your playing with very little money for a very very expensive hobby. It depends on where you wanna go with your civic? all speed or all show. I would start with the smartest thing. A ALARM SYSTEM. might as well protect what your going to start adding into don't you think?

Your first step to getting a N20 setup would be I/H/E, then a FPR, Clutch etc etc...Without the previously mentioned you would run way too lean and detonate your engine...
My opinion if your looking for speed would be I/H/E which will be about 1g...Happy shopping.
