By the way...is there any good reason for doing a suicide trunk? =) Is this will improve the way of putting things in the trunk? I don't think.....!

Rep Power: 0 What's the diff between the "flip flop" trunk mod and the "suicide" trunk mod... I don't think I've seen this suicide trunk. But I'm sure you can get instructions with photos for a couple of bucks on ebay.

Rep Power: 0 suicide trunk is when there is no keyhole or any way to make the trunk open from the outside of the car *without a remote*. everything is shaved off the trunk. same with suicide doors, when you need poppers to make the doors open. suicide doors dont have anything on the outside to get the doors open. somewhere the term "suicide doors" got replaced with "shaved door handles"

I actually did this with instructions off ebay, BUT it didn't work where I was supposed to put the brackets. It popped up at the top and looked kinda dumb.

LIKE WEEEEEEEEE... do some research before you OPEN YOUR MOUTH.. or alteast put some thought behind it..... suicide HAS NOTHING to do with shavin anything.. SUICIDE doors MEAN they open the opposite way... THIS INCLUDES HAVING HANDLES NOT REMOVING THEM...

Rep Power: 365 "Suicide doors" is a term from the early 1900s from when gangsters would fling open their doors which opened the opposite way of conventional doors (i.e. the ones on our civic) and would start shooting with tommy guns. There weren't any 'poppers' in the 30s. Get it right next time. This is just common sense. Just by the name of it, a 'suicide' trunk would have to open with the lid going down. It would have to hinge at the bumper. Thats the worst mod idea ever. Flip-flop (if I'm not mistaken) is just putting door hinges on the part where your trunk connects to the two arms. Voila. Flip-flop trunk. I haven't done it, but it seems like it should be cheap and easy to do. Not sure I like the way it looks though.
