Just Installed My K&N FIPK!!!

I just instalalled it! It looks great! I just want to make sure of something... for anybody out there with a FIPK... when you first started your car up after installation, did you hear kind of a whispy weez from the filter? It was almost like a turbo sound...

Installation was fairly simple... K&N's instructions can be a little vague at times but pretty much a no-brainer. As far as difference and gains... it is only an increase of a couple of horses but the acceleration feels a little more responsive... or that could just be my ears telling my brain, "Damn! Listen to that! It must be faster!" The sound is pretty awesome though. When I first took it out... I just smiled . The sound near the higher RPM's in first and the whole second gear sound clean! Anyways, I didn't do that whole resetting the ECU dealy so maybe when it settles gains will be more noticable... My final words: I LIKEE!
P.S. Tell me how your experience goes.

I think I ordered mine Monday and got it Thursday. And no, I don't have pics yet of it or my ride. But I'm gonna get a digital camera (Sony Cybershot) soon so when I do, I will post pics.
P.S.The sound is sweet! Not too loud, but not quiet either. Just the right amount of rumble when you punch the gas!
