VAFC Question!
To all of the gurus with the knowledge
1.Did your check engine light came up after you hooked up the cables from VAFC to MAP Sensor?? Or I did something wrong??
2. The Tach cable can be connected to the blue wire that is located on the passangers front fender?? Or I am missing something?
And please do not write that I should look up in DIY because I looked and read and got lost.
Thanks

My Revs are not working on the dashboard at all!!! And my Revs on my VAFC are opposite, it shows around 5000 something all the time. Did I get the wrong cables?

you can connnect all the wires as per the instructions just dont hook up the vtec solonoid wires. you cant change when it engages b/c we have i-vtec. thats probally why your getting the check engine. unhook it reset your ecu by disconnecting the battery for 15mins while holding the break for 30 seconds. if your still haveing problem, with the revs check all your settings and make sure you have the pramaters entered correctly <#of cylenders, sensor type ect.

I am so pissed !!! I spenf freaking 4 hours hooking it up and my friend found a place that will do it for you for 75 dolla!!!!! Damn it !! Thay are proffesional import store too!!! Ahhh!
ok i had the same problem with mine, fact is the rpm wire for the vafc which in the DIY it says connect to the light blue wire. THAT IS NOT CORRECT. On the same harness at the ecu you have to hook it up to the dark blue solid wire. I had mine on the light blue and then my check engine light came on. So check that. as for the v-tec solenoid it works just don't change the engagement point too much. I dropped mine 500 rpm and it's fine. but it's something you need to play around with. If you have any questions PM me or email me.
See ... im confused , what is the DIY im not at all new to this , but i just recieved my V-AFC controller and i had no installation Instructions with it , so if someone could answer that for me i would like to get started as soon as possible hooking it up , thanks...
