Hello, I'm just wondering if anyone out there has built a custom intake manifold (or had one built). I am wanting to build one and the way I see it, all I would need to do is cut a new plate to mount to the head, cut the four intake runners, and ahollow out a block of aluminum and cut out the spot where the TB mounts. Am I right, or is there much more to it? I want to leave the throttle body in the same place but I think if I build something bigger than stock with more flow, I am sure I can see a noticeable gain.

Anyone have any info or feedback? I would really like to hear from people who have researched this.

why not put the manifold from an RSX? with jus a little modification i'm sure it woud work.

Actually yes there is some people that have custom intake mani's. Im getting mine done hopefully next week or two. Ill have tons of pics when i get it. Thee sutoming a b16 /D16 polished aluminum intake manifold , the brand is focuz its supposed to free up around 15 to 10 hp. They already done it on 3 cars , its pretty nice

Yep im getting it down at rtec, but im not going direct port though , but im getting the juice
