Stripped screws ?!!!!

I am trying to install a set of guages in my girlfriend's 99' civic, but the 2 screws that hold in the plastic in front of the guages are somewhat stripped, and feel like they are stuck. There is still enough of the grooves left to actually unscrew the things, but I can't get them to budge. Anybody here know how to deal with that ? Thanks in advance.

try pull them out with some needle nose pliers. then go to a hardware store and get some new screws.

I don't think I can grab them with needle nose though.

If theres anything I kno.....it's stripped screws/bolts/nuts
I stripped the one on my header heatshield, and I stripped the one on my rear driver's strut tower.
This si what you could do: go to honda pay a lil fine, I went to Honda for my header took it off for 40 bucks.
Or you can try these mehtods:
wd-40 and use a pair of small vise-grips
If you have room find a monkey wrench, they sell small ones too.
Money wrenches are prolly one of the best tooks to NOT strip a bolt.

Good luck, Jus try some things out, Im not gonna even tell u to do an impact gun or torch/melt it cuz it's prolly a small space, worst coems to worst, Honda, 40 bucks,
Good luck

i have to disagree with the wd-40. that stuff is garbage. all it is, is fine motor oil. go with pb-blaster. that crap will get anything out.

The best way is to use a speed handle and apply some pressure. Just don't use too much or you will crack the dash. That's the best way and use small movements, don't try to unscrew it all at once.
