paint on bolts in engine bay?
I've been wondering what the painted bolts are for? I would imagine its so when you take a wrench to it it chips off and then the dealer can tell if the engines been goofed with?

I dunno...my guess would be so that they know that those bolts have to be torqued correctly or maybe its a way they can tell @ the factory that the bolts have been torqued...

If you are talking about the neon pinkish color it's painted like that from the factory as part of the final inspection process (I have a few family members that work at the East Liberty plant in case you wonder how I know)
