tinting windows Q!
has anyone ever gotten ticketed (or something) by the cops because their very front windows (FRONT driver sideand passenger side windows) were tinted? i want to get my 3 rear windows tinted as well as the 2 in front. but juss dun wanna get in trouble and have to get it removed....
btw...i'm in Vancouver, BC and it's not "legal" to tint the very front windows.

Have a look at my ride, wich has AT-15 tint all around (85% opacity). I never got pulled over either by Municipal, Provincial or RCMP.
It is a chance you can take, the only thing to remeber is to not make yourself seen, if you drive by a cop, look at him, give him a salutation with a sign of the head, dont fear them.
IF you get pulled over, the policeman has to give you a 48 or 72 hours warning BEFORE you get ticketed, he dont have the right too peel your film out nor scratch it to make sure you will remove it. IF you get cought again witthin this lapse of time, then you get ticketed.
I've been pulled for many reasons, speeding, passing on the right, passing onthe right at high speed, , for my exaust... but I never been noticed for my windows. Maybe because my car is black... or it looks clean and they tell themselve it's not worth it, anyway, it's your decision.
If I was you, I'd go for a nice dark tint all around. You wont be disapointed. Until
Good luck in your choice.

Its illegal where I live, too. But I got 5 on my back windows and 35 on the front. In general, the window tinting is an add-on to a ticket if you're stupid and talk back to the cop or something like that. Basically if they can see you, everything is okay, just smile back.

There is a way around that that's how I got away with having 20% tint. If you know a doctor or optomotrist well get them to write you a note of some sort saying you have sensitive eyes, laminate it and then keep it with your insurance stuff
