hey "boosted" question for you

it says...in your name...you're boosted right?? ok, I've got a question from you since I realize now that you're in gainsville, ga.......do you have to do emissions tests?? if so what are you boosted with?? supercharger or turbocharger and how do you pass the emissions tests with the setup?? is it emissions legal or does it stay legal on it's own with the apex-i a/f system you've got hooked up so that it's not running too rich or lean?? only reason I'm asking is cause I can only find one C.A.R.B. legal system that the emissions freaks won't hiss at me for with my car in atlanta.....and that's the jackson racing supercharger setup....

yes, I have a 98 ex....boo hoo it's not a 7th gen but it's darn close enough as I know the kits for 96-up cars are far and few between

any advise you can offer is more than welcome to me.

well...that's not boosting....that's...hmmmm....deep breathin on the happy gas lol

that kinda pisses me off and at the same time intrigues me?? so if it really is nitrous he's got then that means the apex-i can compensate for two different stages (at least) one in n/a mode and one in juiced mode??? nice......

but please, "boosted" don't tell me you named yourself that way based on nitrous...and not a continuous positive induction system....since you can't be "always" boosted under nitrous since the bottle will eventually empty itself......then you're up she!t creek without a paddle...or juice hahaha

and to those who still refer to it in the fast and furious way...it's not "nos" that's a brand name damit! call it nitrous, juice, n2o, whateve but I hate hearing that term "nos" geez...the producers should have at least done their freakin research into popular terminology......

dude, chill......if he wants to use that name based on his use of n2o then so be it...wether he sprays or spools, its still considered boost!

yes he has n2o, last i heard he was not turbocharged...and a supercharger is basically out of the question unless you drop a loooooot of $$$ into it

Stackz maybe he is not named for the car having more power but maybe that the word boosted also means stolen.

who cares, don't over ANALyze everything. People get worked up for the dumbest things. It's like everyone has to prove themselves to the import community by ripping on fast and the furious.

If one more person teaches the fine distinction between NOS being a brand and we only have a header not headers..these really aren't things to wine about and who cares..

and i hate **** people like you who always correct me. i've always used the term nos(yes, even before the movie), short for nitrous, and not the brand... and as for his sn, who cares, maybe he was always known as boosted. like someone said, why analyze everything...
it seems like we got started off on the wrong foot here tho...
but ya if jackson racing was the only company to make carb legal kits, i wonder why everyone else has different companies on their car...

To answer the original question, no turbochargers and superchargers will affect the emissions, but if you get one with a small enough boost then it doesn't matter because you'll still be street legal, and emmissions friendly...

lol!!! RoAr!!! lots of uppety people on the subject of nitrous wow. Regardless of you guys and your opinions on that my question still stands for anyone that's got a supercharger or turbo setup and live in georgia...

personally I'd rather just plunk out the cash...get my setup on their and not have to worry about refilling a bottle every now and then...plus that annoying little law about having it armed if you don't have a bottle remote.....

some of you really need to have a coke an a smile I swear hahahaha

I live in Gainesville Ga, and there is no emissions test for us yet. Even if a Super/Turbo charger couldn't pass the test wew could still have one....For now

if your asking about turbo/superchargers, this isnt the best place to ask seeing how their isnt one out for our cars yet(besides turbo performances)
