Kaminari Kit Hardware Questions
Hey all,
Well Grey and I just got done working on my Kaminari Kit. The front went on pretty good. Incase you don't know, I didn't recieve any hardware or instructions with the kit. So here's the first question. The 4 snaps that go under the car that lock the front bumper to the black plastic and white underlining, was there 4 longer versions included with the Kit? Even the two side snaps (stock ones) seem to be a little short.
Secondly, how did you attack your side skirts in the front. There is only room for one screw up there and it seems like it may not do the exact job. Furthermore, the stock washer will stick out. So how was this attached?
So the front is the only thing on right now...rest will go on soon and I'll update with pics.
Thanks,
Matt

I had some more ideas... I know that Lowe's sells certain automotive hardware. I remember little plastic clips when I looked for them a while back. but I don't know if they have the kind we need. You may want to try there again anyways just to see if they have them. Remember that they have to widen out to more than a half inch in diameter and they need to be something like an inch and a half long.
I still think the side near the front wheel on the sideskirts could use hot glue. Although you'll need to screw in those stock screws and maybe drill out little indentations for them in the sideskirt. That is if the screws make the sideskirt stick out when it's on. I don't think we tried that...
Oh yeah, for the back I got an idea as well... I think that when the back is on the underside covers up the little holes. I think those holes in back could use the clips from the front. That is if they fit. If not, then similiar clips to the ones that you need for the front should be used.
That's all I can think of for now. If you want to come over to the install fest on Sunday, then we can install the whole kit. I think I have a good idea of what to do. Although it would take us a while to do it. Hopefully we could get those clips from Lowe's. Let me know...

I drilled mine in on the four tabs, one along the fenders on the front bumpers and sides, five screws on each side skirt (under of course) and along the fenders and two on the back bumper where it touches the OEM bumper.
