I dont have a camera BUT I have two 7thgen civic members that have seen it and see me pick it up/order it from a shop here in IL. I don't give a fruck you don't believe me or if you did talk with AEM. It's here and it'll be installed for the 7thgen Chicago meet. You can wait for pics then IDQcivic.
By the way for all you dumbies that don't believe me talk with Blue2k1 and Torquen2k1 in the Midwest forums, they'll back me up.

it could be the thing where it was the aem fuel rail made for 1998-2001 civics?
i am not doubting you, but that's what most places did in a lot of parts.
does fuel rail give you any gains?
pics would be great, once you get any, i am dying to find out

On the box it does say: 25-112 Civic 01+
Fuel rail doesnt give much horse power at all. It's better with FI. which I plan on getting in the near future. A lot of ppl think it'll jus waste fuel in our cars which may be true but AEM fuel rails doesnt mean it jus lets in gas whenever, like wide open. I believe it'll be better flow and a really good look in my car.

SLEEPER... i dont recommend using this without upgraded injectors, as well as some serious mods to your engine. the purpose of the fuel rail is to supply an increased flow of fuel to the engine, however, if you dont have means of pumping out more fuel with an upgraded fuel pump, or means of spraying an increased amount of fuel into the engine with upgraded injectors, your just gonna end up having wasted fuel backed up into your injectors, and your prolly not only gonna have more wasted fuel, but you might run into problems with your injectors. im not 100% sure on that, but my recommendation is to hold of on this install.
hey IDQCIVIC...
dont trip bro... the same thing happend to me when i ordered the cam gear. i orderd the cam gear from the shop and picked it up like a few days later, but when i called AEM about a couple questions, they said that they were really surprised that i had it, because they said they hadnt even released the cam gear yet...
kinda funny that they say that, because both you and i, along with quite a few others from this site, have this AEM Cam Gear that supposively isnt out yet! hahaha, they kinda dumb i guess.

I heard something like to from other people BLUENVY01 but my injectors arn't gonna start puring out fuel to the rail unless the ECU has a reason to. Like n20 the ECU tells the fuel injector to pour more fuel into the rail so it can be sent out but if the ECU don't got a reason to pour the extra fuel I don't think it will, and ultimatly not leaving deposits back into the injector. I got another question now BLUENVY01, will the injectors even come to play when it comes to the 'extra' fuel? We have a returnless fuel system so I don't think the injectos and fuel rail will do anything OTHER THAN flow fuel one way (to burn), it's all part of the good ole ULEV. YAY!

1028CiViC, I don't think anyone has installed it, this thread's been out for a few days now, I was hoppin someone did so but I guess not I hope I don't mess something up. Oh by the way it was 129.00+tax

Hey where in Illinois did you get it? I'm sure it would look good under my engine bay, but I'll probably wait until you install it and see what happens... maybe you'll make a DIY! I think there is a forumla for finding out how big of injectors to use. I thought I rea it in superstreet but I just looked and couldnt find it.

lets just put it this way, if you get on the gas, more fuel is pushed through the FUEL LINE, which then moves through the FUEL RAIL, which then gets distributed evenly through the INJECTORS...
Now, if you upgrade the size of the FUEL RAIL, you will be throwing out the balance of fuel flow through your entire fuel system. lets just say for instance that you decide that with your stock fuel system, you get on the gas really hard... well, you will be dumpin a lot of wasted fuel through the fuel system, to only achieve a better acceleration rate. the fuel will flow through the line faster, which then flows through the RAIL to the INJECTORS, but if you open up the size of the FUEL RAIL, you will have more space for fuel to build up before it gets distributed through the injectors.
the only example i can think of how to explain this is if you use a stream of water. lets just say you have a river... which flows into a SMALL pond or lake... which then gets distributed into a SMALL creek. but lets just say that if you open up the size of the lake or pond, makin it bigger, and then try to push an accelerated amount of water through the river to the lake. you will have a build up of water in this lake, but it still is getting pushed into this SMALL stream... either the opening to the CREEK is gonna bust open bigger allowing for the increased amount of water flow, or its just gonna going to continue to flow slowly, but also building up a larger amount of useless water.
HOPEFULLY this analogy helps you a little...
Yes, your ecu has some what of a play in this area, but even still, it mainly has to do with how much gas you send to the engine VIA your accelerator (gas) petal.
my recommendation is to get some RC 320cc or maybe smaller injectors that will increase the flow of fuel from the ratio of OEM injectors. do some research about injectors, because im not sure what OEM injectors are compared to 320cc...
