Ok the sticker the dealer usually puts on the cars to advertise their business - how would I get rid of that without scrathing the paint on the car???

Thanks!

hair dryer is ok but a heat gun is faster, blow hot air on the decal untill its warm and peel it off, wrap some maskin tape or whatever on the tip of a flat head screwdriver to pry out the emblem,do it gently,u dont have to heat the emblem,P.S the emblem is not made of metal, after the decal/emblem is removed, wash the area and wax it,the markin will stay for few days ,if it bothers u,,just dont look at it hard.

if you don't have neither, or too lazy, use your finger nails, and then get some rubbing alcohol, and clean the spot you just did

Damn dude, who pissed in your cereal this morning. Man I ALWAYS search before I post on a topic, but I didn't find anything, so don't go off on me. If you're not gonna help, then why don't you go drive your car or somethin, and stop being such a d¡ckhead. Man that sh¡t pisses me off ...

Edit: Thanks to the rest of you, who actually try to contribute something worthwhile to this site. I'll try the hair dryer trick sometime this week. I have to find someone who has a hair-dryer though. Hmm ..

i used some cloth to cover a flat head screwdriver and took it out, but had some problem getting rid of the the tape. but at least i found it its very simple, just wet the cloth and cover the screwdriver, then like u did with the emblem try to scrape the tape off, but SOFTLY its gonna take a good couple mins but it will come off little by little, remember SOFTLY

Mine was just a sticker, so it peeled off and I goo goned the spot. I've heard the BMW guys shave the emblems with a hair dryer and dental floss. Heat it up, then slide the dental floss underneath and it should pull up. Dental floss is kinder to the paint than a screwdriver, maybe that's why they do it like that. Goo gone what ever junk is left and wax the spot.
