2001 Acura EL Question

Its probably a stupid question, would a trunk lid of an Acura EL fit a US Sedan? i know that the tail lights are different, im just not sure if the trunk lid itself with the different style of lights than the US sedan would fit.

the trunks look identical..so i would think so...but im not sure

It will but you have to keep in mind that ELs do not have a key hole on the trunk. So you will have to cut and install your own lock, install a remote keyless release (standard on all ELs), or just live with having to release the trunk from inside the car.

The fit should be exact, but the curves are different. Civic's trunk slopes downward, while the EL slopes up. In case you were thinking about a spoiler, this will have a minor affect on the way it looks.
