O2 sim
ok i found the O2 sim at Diablo Autosports. but its an ODBII, and arnt our cars ODBIII? so will it still work?
I didn't do the install on mine because I didn't want to screw anything up. It took the shop that installed mine about 30 minutes. IDQ did the install on his, and he also said that it took him about 30 minutes. So, if you know what you're doing, it shouldn't be a problem. Otherwise, let a professional do it.

I didn't solder mine, just twisted the wires really good and taped it all up. I've never had any of my wires come loose and i've been twisting wires for years... Anywas, soldering isnt hard... If I had a cordless solder gun it would be easier to bring out to my car without running an extension cord. SOldering is kinda fun, just get a cheap solder gun and some solder and practice, just heat it up really good and let it bead up over the wires, it hardens almost instantly once it cools down. Later on....

yeah that sounds fine, thats what I did.. or you could go to radio shack and buy these wire taps that you put the wire in and crimp it around the wire, that'd probably be the best way....
I installed my ECG last month. I bought some tap-ins from Radio Shack but splicing wires would work just as good. Just follow the DIY on this. I wasn't sure what the RPM wire, but it's the blue wire by the battery with the "plug" at the end. Connect all the wires as instructed to include the throtle wire and the O2 sim underneath the car and you should be fine. It took me a little time rereading the directions, but don't worry about screwing up your car. The wires are pretty simple to locate.
My check engine light came on yesterday after coming back from New Orleans. I tighten the connections, but that didn't help. So I just disconnected the battery cable and it's G2G.
