here ya go man, i found a couple threads on this topic, they both have some details on what to do, and info about the paints to use, etc:
Thread: What to use to Paint Brake Calipers? (edited)
Thread: brake calipers
it essentially involves removing the 2 bolts that hold the calipers on the knuckle assembly, suspending them, and covering everything else in the wheel well and spraypainting (you can also get paint that you apply with a brush) the calipers.

You know how hard those are to clean! The best thing in the world for cleaning those is this... Take the caliper off of the hub. Then mix some Lye (Drain Cleaner) and water in a bucket. Then just place the caliper in the solution and let it soak. Take out the little hardware so that it doesn't get messed up. Take out the copper thingies and take out any small screws. Let it soak for about an hour. Remove it and you're going to see some bling bling. Use rubber gloves and safety glasses too. After doing that I would just clearcoat the sucker. I might do a DIY later. If I find the time. Maybe Sulfuric Acid will do the trick as well? I have to experiment.
