Empty Gas Tank Question
My car ran out of gas at about 315 miles from a full tank of 87 (89?) octane from 76. I was stuck two floors below in a parking structure. I had 5 minutes before I had to pay for parking time and I run out of gas while backing out of my space
The max for a full tank on city driving is around 400 miles. I now watch my driving habits.

I say, wait for the light to come on, the find a gas station and drive circles around it as you count your miles do this until your car dies, you could turn it into a DIY if you wanted.

LOL
Is this a serious topic?
If the light goes on, you should buy some gas! The light is not there to say you have 60 miles left, it is there to tell the people with the small brains that they need to go to the gas station and get some fuel or you will be soon walking.
Seriously, you should avoid running your tank low on any occasions. The gas we buy today is not always filtered as good as it could be and sediment sits at the bottom of your tank. Running low, increases the input of sludge and clogs your injectors/fuel filter.
