Apex-i controllers...
i was wondering if these controllers will instead of an aftermarket chip or the AEM EMS? i'm getting a custom turbo in the fall and i don't want rock the 1300 bills to get the AEM EMS. which one would be suitable for a turbo application with nitrous? thanks.
the V-AFC is designed for civics/integras/etc... with VTEC. the S-AFC is designed for all other cars...W/OUT VTEC. both do the same job from wut i hear. there might be one or two more functions to the V-AFC, but if ur runnin an LX Civic... buy the S-AFC... if your runnin an EX, then i recommend talkin to an EX owner with the V-AFC... g'luck

I've read around that the VTEC controller on the VAFC doesnt work with are cars... Someone set me straight... Is this even for the EX's with VTEC?

okay... i have an ex, but if get the turbo... what would be better... the AEM EMS, the s-afc, an aftermarket chip, or a chip and the s-afc? let's just consider price and that more than likely a swap in like 3 years or sooo...
there is a guy on here that has a v-afc on his vic and it works
he said u just cant set the vtec levels far from where they are presetted
i cant think of his screen name though sorry
but i think the s-afc would be more logical
