HID in TYC projectors

any problems with putting an hid kit into the tyc projectors...??? does anyone have a kit in there? any problems like melting the housing... ive heard of that on other projectors like the ones for 92-95's..... let me know whats up... ALSO<,, what size bulbs... h1 for low beam, right???[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG]

i have the projectors also and i have H1 bulbs and i think h3 is the high beam but not positive and i think someone in this site has HID in his projectors.

I doubt HID's would melt the harness, simply because they run MUCH cooler than normal headlights. Just my $0.02

Marux had hid in his tyc, that's one of the reason a lot of the members got tyc projectors, especially me, so i cna someday fit those hid into my lights, like he did here is the link to his thread that no longer work for me i hope someone saved the pictures

I have an H1 HID kit in my TYC projectors. I had to do some modifications for them to fit though. Also there has been no problems melting due to the fact that HID bulbs burn cooler (35 watt) then regular halogen (55 watts).
