Tips on installing OEM Spoiler
I recently ordered my OEM spoiler and should be getting it any day now. Does anyone have any tips on how to install it, I wanna make sureto do a good job. Thanks.

Make sure you put the template on the hood correctly.
I've heard of stories where people didn't put the template down properly, thus drilling out holes on the wrong side. i.e. extra hole for wiring of brake light on the wrong side.
Good luck...

I just installed mine last week, and if it's the OEM, you'll notice that there are two marks on the inside of your trunk. You'll just have tu use the included template for the light hole on the drivers side. Just measure to double check, drill....and pray it fits. Good Luck. Luckily, mine matched perfectly! Ugly feeling drilling holes in you car though!
i installed an aftermarket oem a few months ago, i drilled the holes on top perfectly and everything but after i was all done i realized that on the inside there were spots for where to drill, i was quite mad at myself, but whatever

I installed my spoiler as well. I got a replica and saved myselft $175 and you would never know the difference.
Anyhow, to my knowledge, all hondas have the dimples in the truck lids for spoilers. You will see them when you take a look, 2 on each side. Use a center punch to put a little dimple in the center of each spot. Then, use a 3mm drill bit or something small to get the holes started. Then, go up to the size that the spoiler requires. I used the little rubber gasket thing to drill the hole for the wiring. Also, use touch up paint on the holes before putting the spoiler on. I also put some silicone in the holes before mounting the spoiler.
Overall, it's a very simple install. It's just a wee-bit scary when you go to drill that first hole.
