What? My 2k2 civic lx doesn't have daytime running lights. They've proven that daytime running lights reduce accidents.... they're not that bad.

You could just disconnect the DRL light bulbs.

in Canada they're required by law...

All they do is have the high-beams on at a lower power.

They're annoying at times... if you're ever at a drive in the facotry method to turn them off is:

- Turn off car
- Set parking break
- turn on car

the lights will stay off till you drop the break.

I'm sure it would be easy to wire a switch with a little investigation.

I remember reading that it is an option in Japan, I thought Canada as well but I am not sure.....I don't think that they came off the line or as an option in the US.

Canadian models come with DRL, its a law here in Canada... anyways i removed mine and many of my friends Day time lights, u cant remove the bulb because its the same bulb as your low and high beam...so ne ways just pull out the fuse that says day time running light, or DRL on it and done, there are 2 fuses, one is for the light itself and one is for the little DRL sign in ur dash to turn off,
good luck

It works, I've been running with my DRL fuse out for a year now, because DRL looks ugly yellow, and I like the stealth option at night for laying low.
