I've had the o2 sim for while now, no problems, make sure you hooked it up right!! I've posted many times about how to hook it up. Basically.... there are 5 wires
red goes to positive
black goes to negative
the RPM wire can hook up to the RPM testpoint its the blue wire by the battery under a black rubber boot
the O2 sensor wire goes to the black signal wire that you have to cut of the 2nd o2 sensor, make sure you leave it in the harness
the TPS wire goes by the throttle body, its a red/black wire in the middle of 3 wires....
If you hooked it up right maybe you have a defective unit or something else is wrong with you car....

should i solder the connections????i checked all my connections and they are all on the right wires and i reset the ecu and still my light is on and my a/f meter shows me running lean.....
Thats what I did, the only thing I did differently which I dont if it was easier or harder, but I ran a new piece of wiring from the second O2 sensor cutoff back up to the O2 sim. But all in all, it worked out perfectly for me on what IDQcivic told me, Thanks again for all the help IDQcivic!!!!

ok, i just finished re-doing the connections by soldering them and taping the wires too. i also reset the ecu and the car looks fine so far.... could loose connections(with the 02 sim) cause the check engine light to come on?

will this thing make it so the check engine light doesn't come on for the HP header or is that something totally different[hr]

I've had mine on now for about a month (wiring diagram thanks to IDQcivic). I haven't had any problems.
