injen intake

i know there is an aem diy

anyone have an injen or it is the same basic steps?

Jack up car, remove bumper.
Take out the stock intake and battery
Read supplied injen directions except for the part about cutting the splash guard.
Start from the top, and work towards the bottom.
Re-attach bumper AFTER making sure there is no "Check Engine" light.
Trim corner of lower battery tray that gets in the way of the pipe.
Put it all back together and let it idle for 10 minutes (do not touch the gas pedal) so the ECU can reset for the higher air flow.
Go make some noise....

UHH NO. no need for removal of bumper or jacking it up, all you need to worry about is the hole you cut in the fenderwell for the pipe! and to do that all you need to do is turn the tire.

i also recomend purchasing the k&n filter cleaner if you drive in harsh conditions.

filter cleaner is cheap, like between 10 and 20 bucks
