cat back....
i had a apex'i muffler put onto my car and pipe thats 2 1/4 from the resonater . it gives a little bit of noise but not enough to give me a headache.(thats why i just went with the muffler), but lately i've wanted to change it and go to a full cat back with a 2 1/4 pipe. i dont want hardcore noise while im driving can someone with a nice cat back give me some feed back

Rep Power: 0 why don't you just stick with the same muffler and get bigger pipes from the cat-back? you have a sweet muffler. i would know

Rep Power: 0 Get the full piping. I have the HKS Hiper and had no resonator. It was loud when you accerlated and it was quiet when cruising at 80 mph on the highway. Now i have a resonator and 2.25 piping. Its not as loud when I acclerate and you can actual talk to the person sitting next to you(OBX B3 no resonator). I am happy and notice the power difference with the resonator. There is no more direct jolt when VTEC kicks in, but more of a gradual increase and there is still a jolt when VTEC hits(with the resonator).
