Gas problem simplified

I was bored this week so I took apart the car to find out how I am going to up the pressure and retun it back to the tank. Here is what I found the hardest part will be getting under the car to intall the new line. Easy when you have a lift. The stock system measures the presure between the the out let from the pump to the fuel rail and if it is to high it just purges it into the tank, since the regulator is in the tank it made it easy for Honda, but harder for us.

So Nyne, did you put a new regulator and fuel rail in? I had planned on doing the same thing...thanks for the pics. If you did swap, which rail and regulator did you go with? I may PM you for more details because I want to do this as soon as possible.

I haven't done this yet. I am going to go with the aem fuel rail and i am researching the regulator. Most of AEM's need vacuum. I looked at some fuel diagrams from the generation before us, that is how I got the idea.

no the regulator just slides on the pump housing for a place to be secure.
