Fuel System Upgrade
ok i was sitting here thinking. Everyone says that we have the problem with the fuel systems for our cars well What I was thinking why cant we use some of the fuel system parts from the k20 engine like the fuel injectors and the fuel filter and all the fuel system stuff. becuase if we are having problems with our fuel system for our turbos then why cant we use those or even what about this.
AEM makes the high flow fuel rail for our car and i think a few other fuel system upgrades for our car would doing these types of upgrades help with the $hitty fule problem we have. because if that is the case all u need for a turbo is k20 or RC injectors, High flow fuel rail, AEM universal fuel pressure regulator. and you should be in business.
Well that is what I think.

you are definitely gonna wanna make sure that it would be benificial to even do this to your car at this point in its life. if you just dumping more fuel into it, and not enough air is coming in to mix with it, then this fuel system upgrade is point less. at this point, your best bet is acquiring a RSX Type-S fuel pump. then move towards the injectors, FOLLOWED by the AEM fuel rail. with out high-flow injectors, the AEM fuel rail is pointless, just wasting gas.

yes it works to a point all it does is jsut makes more of a bang in the cylinder in ur engine which revs the car faster. but yeah it does do something. But yeha that is what i was saying logically it would work u put a type fuel pump in to pump more gas then get bigger injectors to put more fuel into the engine and then upgrade the fuel rail. so this should solve the problem with turbo upgrade not getting enough fuel. Am I right or wrong in my idea.
The real problem is we dont have a returing fuel system. So yes you could pump more fuel into the engine but when the turbo isnt spooled up(and doesnt need the extra fuel) you will be running really rich, and wasteing a lot of gas... if I understand how it all works correctly... So to really fix our problem it would be easier to just mod the engine and fuel system to allow a return of the excess fuel not burned...
Tell me if I am wrong... but that is what I understand.
