Removing Trim Pieces...??
hey guys just finished painting center consule and trim around cd player...moving on to other parts, can anyone tell me how to take out the piece where our door **** is and the piece around the controls for the windows?...thanks for the help
ok theres a piece right behind the door handle that you need to pop off using a flat tip screwdriver. from there removing the screw and then you'll need to remove the handle. for the piece when the window controls are you'll need to pop up the small cover. then remove the screw and you'll be able to take out the piece. just diconnect any connections and with that piece you need to reomve some screws to get the rubber piece off and use some masking tape to cover the area you dont want painted, unless you are painting the whole piece. sorry if it sounds confusing. my memory is a bit blurry
for the center piece you first need to remove the part where the lighter plug is. just grip that piece and pull it out. now with that piece out of the way look for two screws and remove them. then stick your hand in where you pulled out the piece and push the center piece out.

yeah u just take ac control ***** off, just pull kinda hard they come off easy then you gotta use flat head to pop out the power outlet piece then look up and there is 2 8mm bolts to take out then...it took my a while to figure out how to pop center piece off...you reach in with palms up and pull the metal thing u took the bolts out of towards you and it will pop out<~thats the hard part...but yes the cd player is attached along with the storage box and ac control stuff and the air vents its easy to take those off tho take alittle time
