what parts are needed
in order to do this, what parts are needed to convert stock exhaust, besides a muffler, and downpipe, to this:

ive been wanting to do it for a while, but didnt know if it would look good, now i know.

looks to me like all you'd need is a simpl custom piping job. you'd put a Y adapter in the current piping, right before the muffler, then you'd run the pipe like in the pic across the undercarriage to another muffler, and just get 2 dual-port tips....should be relatively simple, but the question would be if it sounds/performs well, since you're adding a second muffler and whatnot.
alternatively, you could just have a dummy muffler & tip, or even just a dummy tip attached to the bumper or something. that would be perhaps the best option if you are worried about performance/sound issues with the dual exhaust. But we aware, that (the dummy muffler/tip) is generally considered rice in one of its purest forms !!

or you can do this perhaps:
run custom pipes from the cat, to resonator if you want to keep it, then to a single inlet muffler with a double outlet, then run custom piping from the muffler to the double tips. that technically shouldnt hurt performance as far as i understand.
-or-
the dude that had that done said that he just had custom pipes to a Y-pipe like slikor said, but the dude that did this (whats his name BTW??) he said he made a valve where the pipe splits, so that there was no loss of pressure and both sides are functional.

dude, i didnt say the dummy muffler a good idea as far as im concerned, believe it or not some ppl do that. i was simply stating the fact that one COULD be ricey and put a dummy muffler on, if they were concerned with performance/sound issues with this type of dual exhaust. i would sure as hell never do that, oh GOD no!
not to mention the fact that the dummy muffler is far from *my idea*!
