Working on car now, need help!!!

I need help. I am trying to remove the rear struts so that I can install new bushings. However, the bolt underneath the car that holds the shock in place is very difficult to take off. It is hard to get directly underneath the bolt, so I'm having to rely on pure strenght. I have tried and tried and still can't take off the damn bolt. I need to take it off right now, can anyone help?

try spraying it with WD-40 and letting it sit for like half an hour. that might loosen it up a bit. otherwise, dont know what you can do...i havent done that yet.

Try getting a pipe around the ratchet for more leverage.

OKAY let me explain how me and my dad do it.
First, you get a person to push down on the rotor (this will get rid of some of the stress on the bolt)....Then I get a small screw driver and help the bolt threw the hole to the other side. I use phematic tools so it makes it easier to do it. I would encourage everyone to get an air compressor (not a cheapy either) and get some air tools they are the greatest investment to aa true car fanatic. Peace
