I don't know if I would ever really recommend to anyone to lower a car...especially ours. Mine is still completely stock and just recently I drove through a Home Depot parking lot and had to drive over multiple speed bumps. I was going very slow over each, but the last one I went over (slightly larger than the previous ones) caused my car to drop down and literally land on it. I don't know if it's the combination of f***ing economy suspension or what, but when the front wheels passed over, my car came down hard on the speed bump and made a terrible noise pulling over it . After that occurred, I just kinda sat in my car, very disgusted with what happened, and decided to thank my lucky stars that I hadn't lowered my car.

i too am running on stock rims with a clean 2 inch drop. the look is perfect imo- gets ride of the gaie wheel gap; for me, anything lower would be too aggressive.

and another thing, i hardly scratch on anything.

Logan, i have had no problems even with a 1.7" drop... must be some really huge speed bumps....

since you dont have a kit ATLEAST 2" specifically neuspeed race. i have neuspeed sports on my stock wheels and have like a 2 finger gap all around. the drop looks fine in pics but you could barely tell its lowered in person.

n btw, next time please post in the suspension forum and use the search button.

Like I said, yes, the speed bump that got me was massive...but even then, you have to admit that even stock, our cars sit kinda low. Heck, at least mine does! I know that when I pull up to most curbs, I dare not pull all the way up to it because the front doesn't always clear. Okay, I admit that lowering cars makes them look really cool and does help their performance (very little off-track), but it's pretty silly to do considering the roads we have to drive them on. It's just not practical to have a vehicle that sits almost on the ground as a primary vehicle. I've already had to replace the fog lights twice because of rocks or whatever. Last thing I need is a rock having just enough height to take out one of my headlights or maybe running INTO a curb rather than over it, LOL. Use your heads, people, if you are going to make modifications to your vehicles, use some reasoning and don't do things that will make your ride less safe or not streetable. If you have a problem with what I've said, just remember the saying about opinions and save your breath knowing that I really couldn't care less what some wannabe or geek off a forum says or thinks about me. Peace.

I think 1.75 inches is just right. SO if you decide to slap on some 17 inchers with 45 series tires it will be the perfect tuck
