Steering Problems

Hey All

I have a question for all the mechanically inclined people on the site.
I feel I have a problem with my steering. When I am driving at regualr road speeds, like 80km/h I think it comes out to 55mph I dont notice too much of a problem, but when I get on the highway and get up to the higher speeds, my steering doesnt feel as responsive as it used to be, meaning before I rolled it. I know that my drivers side wheel hit some dirt on the rollover, actually thats what caused it to roll. But now when I am going around a turn at highway speeds my steering make me feel as if the car has no traction and is not making the turn correctly. As well when I am going straight it sometimes feels like its off. I know its hard to explain but I am trying to get some ideas as to what it could be. I have no suspension mods and am running on stock Firestones, but thats another question I have for later. Can anyone help make some suggestions as to what it would be or what I can check for.

Thanks in Advance.

I second that.
-Stock Firestones
-no suspension mods

I noticed my alignment is off, pulls to the right, and the car is only a year old now. and yes, tire pressures are all equal, and tires are rotated properly and on time by me. When it comes to steering and the hydrolics involved, I'm a clueless dork. I guess I should have the alignment checked, but what about the looseness... anyone else experiencing this?
Suggestions?

Hey Phong so I am not the only one with this problem?.
Cause thats good to know, atleast it can rule out that its just me or a result of the accident.

when you say accident... and roll... did your car actually roll, like upside down?
if so, then maybe my problem is from different circumstances

Yeah I had it on the roof when I rolled it. It didnt roll over and over it just went up on its side and then over on its top, damage was minimal as far as a roll over goes, 99% was cosmetic.

hmmm yea this would be hard to diagnose without actually driving it....never had this problem w/ my ride...

have u had ur alignment checked?

are the tires balanced?

that would be the first thing i'd check,,,then go more in depth if that does not fix the problem....then check tie rods, steering pump, fluid, etc....

Yeah pogi, I had them do an alignment and everything first to make sure it was all in check, and they said the frame was fine and as far as I know it looks good to me. I was thinking it could have been a tire rod or something in along there where everthing comes together. Other than that is there a sway bar in the front?, if so could that be broke and cause the prob.
