If your gonna spend that much money on a K&N drop.......just get an SRI w/a K&N filtere on it.....like a Injen or something.....

I'd go with an intake if you were thinking about it and plan on keeping the car for a while. You will end up spending the same amount replacing those restrictive paper filters in the long run.
