Need advice for mods to leased Civ.

hey all,

i have a leased 2001 civic DX (yeah i know i should have gone with the EX or LX) sedan. i still dont know if im gonna keep it after 4 years or not, but the stock is really kinda boring. i was wondering if anyone had suggestions on what i can do to the car that can be undone later. i put in blue headlights already, and waiting to get my blue driving lights so im already starting.

i dont mind putting in the work into it, as long as honda doesnt charge me in the end. i mean if they dont know about it, it cant hurt me, right? hehe
hope to get some ideas.

wheels are your best bet,......off and on easy........intake very easy also,........off and on.....
don't know how much of a mechanic you are,......exhaust is easy also,........catback bolt on.....
springs aren't that bad,......
when your done......you can take everything off and sell it on this site...
good luck,.....have fun tunning

Anything that simply replaces a stock part should be good. I wouldn't paint the interior or anything or in other words, nothing pernament. Keep in mind that you will get about half or less of the money that you put into the car back out.

I've heard besides basic body damage, they look pretty closely at the engine, so if you can't change it back to OEM, don't bother = no NOS

hey all,

thanx! i think ill stay away from the NOS, i doubt it would really do that much to a DX anyway.
but im definately gonna invest in some wheels, CAI, exhaust<?>, and possibly a bodykit. i like that spoiler from the hybrid, you think they'll let me order that for me Civ??

keep em comin...

I wouldn't do a thing to a leased car if I were you, but if you do, then just keep in mind:

bolt on, bolt off

exhaust
wheels
body kits
etc.
