DIY on headlamp black housings

can somebody please give me a DIY on black housings?? I already kno how to open up the housing but idont know what to use to paint it black.

use some black spray paint....look at mine.....see if you can figure it out....

1. follow DYI for cleared headlights
2. get High temp spray paint
3. put spray paint in hand (the can, not the paint)
4. spray on inserts
5. let dry
6. put back together

yea, I would actually take mine to a shop have em profesional........
I'm really debating on doing this,....just don't want to go through the hastle

Pedrito: Where'd you get those JDM Black Tailamps? And did you paint them black, or install them yourself? I don't quite understand what the DIY means before them in your description.

yes, follow all their directions, make sure the paint is dry and sticking to the chrome well before you reinstall, or else big problems may come.... PEACE check my sig for more pics, la deee daa, oh yeah, and search lol

i painted the altezza's myself Black that is REALLY hard to do only me and pimpdakota have accomplished it i believe....good luck if your gonna do it dont crack the clear lense like me...

Well i just cleared my corners and black housed my headlights last saturday...THEY CAME ouT TIGHT..everyones jockin them..People thought I bought them...haha...Use FLAT BLACK PAINT...I used paint that was used for painting grills...Able to withstand 4000 Degrees of heat...hehe..GOOD LUCK
